Job Summary:
The Finance/HR/Admin Officer will be responsible for overseeing financial management, human resources functions, and administrative support for SWCCA. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and donor regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and prepare financial reports as required.

Human Resources:

  • Support in recruitment processes, including job postings, shortlisting, and interviews.
  • Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate orientation and onboarding for new staff and provide HR support to the team.

Administrative Support:

  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and events, including travel arrangements.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
  • Assist in procurement processes, ensuring compliance with SWCCA’s procurement policies.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Assist in monitoring project expenditures and ensuring expenses are within budget.
  • Prepare administrative reports and contribute to project reporting as required.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Liaise with local authorities, vendors, and service providers as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication with project teams and external stakeholders.
  • Represent SWCCA in meetings and forums related to finance, HR, and administrative matters.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, HR, or administrative roles, preferably within a non-profit or development organization.
  • Familiarity with financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Experience in HR functions, including recruitment, personnel management, and compliance.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software.
  • Fluency in English and Somali (written and spoken) is required.
