SWCCA, with the support of the Stand Speak Rise Up (SSRU), supported 100 CRSV/GBV survivors from 2020 up to 2022 to learn business skills, Somali language, how to write and read, Basic mathematics, and Vocational skills training (Tailoring skills and Dye and tie) and create income-generating activity, while also informing the women of their rights and helping them to develop their self-confidence, which in turn helps them to gain respect in their society.
In addition to integrating back into the society, the women became financially self-sufficient, can educate their children, have access to health care, manage their incomes, and lift themselves out of poverty.
Together, we can make a difference!
