Somali Women and Child Care Association (SWCCA) with the support of Urgent Action Fund-Africa hired RCCE team those who delivered COVID -19 Messages and Conducted continues awareness raising campaigns in the IDP camps on Covid-19 prevention with mobilization and sensitized persons/women living with disabilities on Covid-19 prevention measures.
Women with disabilities living in conflict zones and more especially those who are in the IDP camps and are already dealing with increased health challenges, exacerbated threats to their security, and societal marginalization that negatively impacts nearly every faced of their lives are feeling the impact of Covid-19 pandemic more than other groups.
